Adoptions
Our goal is to provide a safe and caring home for rabbits in need. Placing rabbits in caring homes is the best way for us to achieve this goal.
All adopters will undergo a phone screen prior to starting the adoption process. After completing the phone screened you can come by the shelter to meet the buns in person.

Our Bunnies
Jelly
Hi! My name is Jelly. I am a gray rabbit with some Lionhead mixed in. I was part of a hoarding situation and I am very unhappy being kept in a cage. I need an exercise pen to live in, or my own room would be even better! I enjoy doing zoomies (racing around spaces) and indulging in my salad. I need a quiet home with a dedicated, patient owner.
Jelly was most likely born in the second half of 2020. BunnyPeople's policy is to adopt within a 60-mile radius of the shelter in Harrisburg, PA only.

Henry
Henry was seen running loose outside alongside a wild rabbit. When he was caught, he was covered in fleas and ticks. Despite a rough time living outside, he has become a sweet and friendly bunny. BunnyPeople's policy is to adopt within a 60-mile radius of the shelter in Harrisburg, PA only.

Ginger
Ginger was adopted through us in 2020, but was recently returned to us through no fault of her own. We estimate she was born around July, 2020.
Ginger is the product of a story that every rabbit rescue dreads hearing. Her previous owners brought home two rabbits who they were told were the same sex, then a short time later they were surprised by babies. Two rabbits swiftly became nine. They were overwhelmed, but BunnyPeople worked with them to bring the whole family in to the rescue.
Now Ginger needs a new, loving home! BunnyPeople's policy is to adopt within a 60-mile radius of the shelter in Harrisburg, PA only.
