Adoptions

Our goal is to provide a safe and caring home for rabbits in need. Placing rabbits in caring homes is the best way for us to achieve this goal.

All adopters will undergo a phone screen prior to starting the adoption process. After completing the phone screened you can come by the shelter to meet the buns in person.

Fergie

Fergie is one of a group of bunnies found abandoned in a shed after an eviction. Born around August, 2022. BunnyPeople's policy is to adopt within a 60-mile radius of the shelter in Harrisburg, PA only.

Floppy Verde

Floppy was found roaming around on Green Street in Harrisburg. After multiple attempts, BunnyPeople was able to catch her. With proper nutrition and some TLC, she has become a happy bunny. Floppy is very sweet and loves attention.

Trixie

Trixie is a playful, sweet, and sometimes sassy rabbit. She loves to run around and is looking for a forever home that will allow time to free roam. Her favorite thing to is chew on her chew toys.

Walter

This is Walter! He has blue eyes.

Walter was found dumped in a flower bed and a Good Samaritan brought him to us. At first he had issues moving and the vet found he had a herniated disc in his lower back. After several weeks of laser treatment and anti-inflammatory medication, he is moving around so well! He is spunky and likes to party like a rockstar. He craves human attention and loves pets.

We are unsure how Walter got his lower back injury, but he has showed zero signs of regression and is a very happy bunny. Walter’s dream forever home would be an adult only home with no other pets.
